Summer school provides education for the community on topics of sustainable living, health and wellbeing, eco design, arts and crafts. We run summer schools in Oamaru and Dunedin, with the next summer school for both locations held January 17th - Feb 2nd 2020. It builds on the Natural Heritage Society's 'Sustainable Skills Summer School' which traditionally ran each January/February from 2010 to 2018.

The Summer School Oamaru has taken over the running of The Sustainability Project from Waitaki Community Gardens, yet still uses our lovely gardens to help run some of the courses. The courses will be held in Oamaru between 17th Jan and 2nd Feb 2020.

We're excited to be offering this building capability in our community by carrying on this incredible initiative. When it comes to lifelong learning - we are all part of the solution.
