As an organisation entering our 10th year of operations; we are intent on advancing a series of significant projects which deliver to our strategic goals.

About the role

This is a new role, supported by a proactive Board of Trustees and a talented team, providing an exceptional opportunity to make your mark in a thriving regional setting.

 

Your success measures are geared to enhance the wellbeing of our community across our four pou (quadruple) bottom line, i.e. providing social, cultural, environmental and economic benefits to the people in the Waitaki region.

 

You will:

  • develop operational plans for the organisation as well as several key projects,

  • develop business cases and prepare feasibility assessments,

  • secure funds and resources to deliver to the operational plan and projects,

  • enhance current executive, board and stakeholder reporting against strategy,

  • develop and implement policies and procedures.

Skills and Experience

  • Relevant qualification in change management, strategy implementation and / or relevant experience.

  • Proven experience in identifying and securing funding via grants, partnerships (Government and Commercial) and sponsorship.

  • Proven track record in leadership. Can provide examples of initiative or programme leadership that delivered meaningful impact.

  • Experience in leading cross-organisation initiatives, engaging stakeholders and drawing together diverse teams to deliver initiatives.

  • Solid knowledge and experience with data collection, models and methodologies, analytic systems and tools.

  • Experience in working in or with the not-for-profit sector.

  • Experience in developing new commercial products or services and taking them to market an advantage.

  • Experience in tech and primary sectors an advantage.
